Director and Lead Auditor
Mark Henderson BA(Hons) Cmgr
Mark founded Compliant in 2016 and enjoys working with clients across the UK and Worldwide. The company is certified to UKAS-accredited standards in ISO 9001 Quality, 14001 Environmental, 22301 Business Continuity, 27001 Information Security, and 45001 Occupational Health and Safety. As a BSI-trained Lead Auditor across these same standards, Mark possesses comprehensive knowledge of the ISO process and excels at helping clients achieve certification within agreed timeframes.
Kym Shakesby
Kym is the Business Manager and Executive PA to the Managing Director, Mark Henderson, bringing years of experience in Human Resources and Health & Safety within the facilities management industry. Highly skilled in Business Management, administration, and executive support, she ensures seamless and efficient daily operations. Recognised as an organised professional who can effectively multitask with close attention to detail and accuracy, Kym is dedicated and dependable. Her passion lies in creating a relaxed and worry-free experience for our clients as she mentors, guides, and successfully supports them in achieving certification.
Donna Cargill
Donna is an accomplished Global Operations Manager with over a decade of experience in managing and nurturing high-profile client relationships. Donna brings years of experience within the civil service and private sector, supporting students applying for university, and 30 years of retail management experience and reviewing needs assessment reports from assessors before sending them to Student Finance England. Donna is an avid Newcastle fan and also enjoys extensive travel she enjoys daily swimming to support her wellbeing and fitness.
Natalie Cummings
With over 12 years of experience in the retrofit industry, I bring a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise to the team. I hold a Level 5 qualification in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management, and my background in compliance has given me a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of regulatory standards. Through my extensive experience, I’ve developed in-depth knowledge of PAS 2035 and the importance of delivering high-quality, compliant retrofit projects. Outside of work, I enjoy going to gigs, spending quality time with my family, and heading out for walks with my miniature dachshund, Dave.
Ryan McNally
At the beginning of his working experience, Ryan served six years as a supply specialist in the British Armed Forces Logistics Core, gaining recognised qualifications in Warehousing and Distribution.
Ryan now comes to Compliant with 26 years of retail management experience. Ryan has held various roles, working his way up from a Saturday contract and progressing through the internal career path, opening new stores to transforming existing stores. He has liaised with key internal and external stakeholders and prioritised quality to ensure the best client journey is always maintained.
Ann Corbin
Ann is an accomplished professional with several years of experience in the Compliance and Accreditation retrofit industry. Her expertise spans various PAS standards and a range of accreditations, including Safe Contractor, CHAS, Trustmark, and Achilles. Ann excels in navigating complex regulatory environments, ensuring that organisations meet and exceed compliance requirements. She thrives on working to high standards, has meticulous attention to detail and excellent customer service skills with a background in that sector. She is passionate about travelling and exploring new places and cultures outside her professional life. She also likes spending quality time with her family and walking with her (reluctant) rescue French bulldog.
Loretta Coulson
Lorretta Coulson is a detail-oriented compliance professional with a strong commitment to regulatory integrity, ethical standards, and organisational accountability. She brings a structured and analytical approach to ensuring that policies, procedures, and operations align with industry requirements.
With a proven ability to interpret regulatory frameworks and implement effective compliance controls, Lorretta supports risk management, governance, and continuous improvement across business functions. She is recognised for her thorough auditing practices, clear documentation, and proactive approach to identifying and mitigating compliance risks.
Lorretta works collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels to promote a culture of transparency, responsibility, and best practice. Her strong communication skills enable her to deliver training, guidance, and reporting that supports organisational compliance objectives.

Cheryl Davies
Cheryl brings extensive experience in managing and nurturing high-profile key accounts, having spent over 15 years in the computer industry dealing with sales order management. She understands her clients’ needs and expectations, resulting in strong, lasting relationships. Her background includes warehouse logistics, stock movement, underwriting new insurance policies for the motor trade and tradesmen, costing, and banking. In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys gardening, reading, and building jigsaw puzzles. She has participated in several charity walks including London ‘Shine’ and Windsor Princess Trust and has completed a tandem skydive, ticking one off her bucket list.
Clare Reay
I am a dedicated and enthusiastic professional with extensive experience implementing
and managing multiple ISO projects simultaneously. I consider myself to be highly
skilled in collating and monitoring statistical data regarding organizational performance,
being proactive and reactive where necessary. I have an extremely keen eye for detail,
and I am competent in all aspects of project management. I also have invaluable
knowledge and experience of business certifications in Quality, Environmental, and
Competency management systems to accredited standards.
I am fully experienced in lead auditing and providing internal employee awareness and
processes development for implemented management systems, continuous
improvement and working with external auditing organizations, to maintain
accreditation.
I spent 15 years of my career in the USA and relocated back to the North East of
England in 2023. I moved over to the USA in a partnership to set up and manage a
production facility in 2008. After building and growing the facility (from 6 employees to
now over 50) I felt I had used my skills, experience and knowledge to make it
sustainable, rather than maintain the project, I returned to the UK, ready for a new
chapter and challenge.
Danielle (Dani) Law
I am a motivated and reliable professional with strong experience in administration, customer service, and relationship
management. Skilled in process improvement, data handling, and supporting teams to deliver results. Confident
communicator with leadership experience and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
I enjoy recreational football, gym training, drawing and painting, fantasy literature, and attending the cinema/theatre.
Hannah Brooks
Hannah has several years of experience in retail and in the higher education sector. She understands clients’ needs and has a proven track record of building strong client relationships, always putting clients at the heart of everything she does. Hannah excels in dynamic, high-pressure settings, remaining highly organised, proactive, and solution focused. With a degree in English Language, she brings a creative flair and excellent attention to detail to every project. When she’s not working, she can usually be found travelling, enjoying brunch, or walking her dog, Betty.
